“Mayra Safety Consultancy” is a venture by Mr. Sharad Ganpatye, a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Engineers, India,  with 30+ years of  experience in the field of  chemicals manufacturing and plant & process safety.

Mr. Sharad Ganpatye has wide experience of working with MNCs like Bayer, LANXESS and Galaxy Surfactants and has an expertise in developing process safety as well as behaviour based safety. His last stint as a Global head of ‘Safety, Health and Environment’ (SHE) was with Galaxy Surfactants Ltd. During his tenure, he successfully shouldered different responsibilities like functional head of Plant and Process Safety, Project Safety, Management of Change, providing manuals and procedures, working on Safety Excellence project, and conducting HAZOP studies on different chemical processes.

He has developed software solutions in order to bring uniformity across the organisation in the processes like incidents management, safety audits and controlled work procedures. He has also introduced authorisation in soft in order to eliminate paper work, expediate approvals and maintain records  lifelong.
